London 2012 Olympic tickets on sale 15 March

Tickets for the London 2012 Olympic Games will go on sale on 15 March, organisers have announced.
Sports fans will have six weeks to decide which event they want to attend before making a final submission.
There are 6.6m tickets available and applications will close on 26 April, with all oversubscribed sessions being allocated via a ballot.
Tickets for the Paralymic Games will go on sale on 9 September, with prices announced in May.
The London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) made the announcement on the National Lottery programme on BBC One.
London 2012 Olympic stadium floodlights switched on

The floodlights at London's 2012 Olympic stadium have been switched on at a ceremony in east London.
Prime Minister David Cameron switched on the lights on 1815 GMT and commended the team for the "great job".
Sports personalities and politicians attended the event. The site workforce, members of the local community and schoolchildren were among the audience.
Mayor Boris Johnson said it was "a historic evening" and urged people to forget the World Cup "bitterness".
Mr Cameron said: "Well done team. Great job."
The prime minister added: "In just one year, seven months, seven days, two hours and about 12 minutes, the biggest show in the world comes to town."
Brazil reign again, Colombia make history

When they arrived in Ecuador for the sixth South American Women’s Championship, continental powerhouses Brazil had several objectives in mind, the first of which was to win back the title they lost to Argentina four years ago.
The brilliant Brazilians did that in double-quick time, winning their first two games in the four-team final group to depose La Albiceleste and collect their fifth South American title. In doing so A Seleção also made sure of their place at the FIFA Women's World Cup Germany 2011 and the Women's Olympic Football Tournament London 2012.
